Universal Class

Offered free from AKO under the My Library link, Universal Class provides online continuing education courses to schools, libraries, companies, educators, and individuals throughout the world. It aims to advance intellectual exchange in teaching, research, and service with its technology and belief that lifelong learning should be affordable to all people of all cultures.

Log into your AKO under Self Service click on the My Library Link. Universal Class is on the left side. Click on the link. Use AKO as your library card code when you create your account.



Universal Class, Inc. has been accredited as an Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), 1760 Old Meadow Road, Suite 500, McLean, VA 22102. In obtaining this approval, Universal Class, Inc. has demonstrated that it complies with the ANSI/IACET Standard which is widely recognized as the Standard of good practice inter-nationally. As a result of their Authorized Provider accreditation status, Universal Class, Inc. is authorized to offer IACET CEUs for its programs that qualify under the ANSI/IACET Standard. These classes are not guaranteed to transfer to any other program and are offered only for personal enrichment.


Course Structure

Each course has an instructor who monitors the students progress and is available for questions via e-mail. Students are provided with a syllabus at the beginning of each course. Classes are accessible 24/7 for the convenience of the student.
