Biography of
Command Sergeant Major Timothy D. Lowe


Command Sergeant Major Timothy D. Lowe hails from Dothan, Alabama. He completed Basic Training at Fort Dix, New Jersey and Advanced Individual Training as a 71M (Chaplain Assistant) at Monmouth, New Jersey.


Command Sergeant Major Lowe’s military assignments include the HHD Training BDE, Fort McClellan, AL; HHB DIVARTY, 25th Infantry Division (L), Schofield Barracks, HI; HQ’s JRTC and Fort Polk, Fort Polk, LA; 75th Field Artillery Brigade, Fort Sill, OK; III Corps Artillery, Fort Sill, OK; 415th BSB, Kaiserslautern, GE; 6th Area Support Group, Stuttgart, GE; United States Army Garrison, Fort Bliss, TX; United States Army Pacific Command, Fort Shafter, HI; 377th Theater Sustainment Command, Belle Chasse, LA; United States Forces-Afghanistan, Kabul, Afghanistan; 21st Theater Support Command, Kaiserslautern, Germany; United States Army Europe, Wiesbaden, Germany. CSM Lowe is the 10th Command Sergeant Major of US Army Chaplain Center and School.


Command Sergeant Major Lowe’s military education includes Warrior Leaders Course, Advance Leader’s Course, Senior Leader’s Course, Equal Opportunity Leader’s Course, Air Assault Course, Army Basic Instructor Course, NBC Defense Course, Supervisor Development Program Course, Unit Prevention Leader Course, Domestic Violence Intervention Training Course, Chaplaincy Resource Manager Course, and the CSM Development Program Course (BN). He is a graduate of the U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy (class 60). Command Sergeant Major Lowe currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice.


Command Sergeant Major Lowe’s awards include the Soldier’s Medal, the Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (8th award), Army Commendation Medal (4th award), Army Achievement Medal (5th award), Meritorious Unit Commendation, Army Good Conduct Medal (8th award), National Defense Service Medal with Bronze Star, Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Noncommissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon with numeral 4, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Ribbon with numeral 4, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Medal.


Command Sergeant Major Lowe and his wife Therese have three children; Jasmine, Jeyden, and Justin.
